- Have a finger print identification lock
If you have a finger print security lock, no one would be able to access your phone as every person has a unique finger print. For effective data protection, it is important to have a finger print lock on your smart phone.
- Have a log in password
A log in password along with a finger identification lock increases the security level of the smart phone. As a user, you should try and select a complex password for your phone. Ideally, a good password is a combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters. You should also change the password of your phone frequently for better protection.
- Do not enable “remember password” options
Activating the “remember password” option does provide a lot of convenience as the user has the option to log in without providing any credentials. This can be a problem, when someone accesses your phone as your credentials would be automatically logged in. A lot of information stored in emails and social media accounts can be misused when users select the “remember my password” option.
